Perfecto 265 tank - what is it worth?

How much would a used 265 Perfecto tank be worth? It is supposedly in great condition, no leaks, no scratches. It does not have built in overflows.

I have been planning a 300+ gallon tank but I found a used 265 but I'm not sure which way I should go. I currently have a 210 so the 265 would only give me one additional foot in width.

Well I guess the tank is a good deal then. The seller wants $500 for it. I would have to do a seven hour round trip drive to get it but that wouldn't be too bad.

The problem is I have to decide if I want to settle for a smaller tank than I wanted.

The 300 will be at least a foot longer. However, I am kind of thinking about getting the 340 from glasscages. It is almost 11 foot long. That would be pretty cool even though it is only two feet deep (front to back). The actual measurements are 130"x24"x25'. I just haven't convinced myself of doing the drive or spending that much money.plus I've read quite a few negative reviews of their tanks so that has me worried as well.
