permanant damage from low oxygen levels?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If this is what happened, Would it be permanant damage?, or will the fish get better over time? The lights are already out so im going to check them out tomorrow.

it could be brain damage or damage to other organs

i really doubt theres too much flow in the tank, you really have to try hard to make a tank have too much flow.
i recommend this read to help you understand that oxygenation of water is crucial for fish tanks

i would tell you its important to check the fish out closely once day especially in a breeding scenario, but i think the extra cullings will probably drive the point home better. so sorry for the lose

depends upon the fish and the amount of damage, theres is a chance they will heal, as undamaged parts of the brain can take on the jobs of the damaged parts. most people would probably just cull them if they dont get better in a week.

yeah sounds like a might have a full culls. It was only a small few of them that it affected. I think im going to seperate the bads one and put them into another tank where i can watch them better and see if they are getting any better. I read that article a few days ago and thats why i figured some of them may have organ or brain damage from the low oxygen levels. I gotta watch my tanks better for now on.

I think I am reading a bunch of made up crapola...No offense...Realistically, all of your issues were addressed on page 1 :)
