What are you looking for for info? Should you buy it? Thats up to you and if you think the price is worth saving it's life... Never a good idea to post up a pic ooff google when it comes to Perruno's, they are almost ALWAY wrong, Count the Dorsal rays and you'll know if it's a true or fake which will also tell you if it will be worth the money or not It would be fine in the 175 for along time to come so I wouldn't be to worried about that as I see your wish list of fish your GETTING... you'll need bigger tanks for some of those so this will have a home later as well

Thats quite expensive i got my adult true perruno for £35, but if you want it go for it,

yh i sore him in pets at home its cr*p really they had a 14" tsn there in the tank with pacus and half of the pacus died and the tsn died i saved my (L-083) from that tank

i don't think they are aggressive, they will just eat anything they can fit in their mouths...typical catfish and typical that they should eat quite a bit and not be too picky. I've never kept one, so take my advice with a grain of salt, lol. I have a couple LFS that have them and I am SO tempted to buy one every time, but they will get to 3' more quickly than I am prepared for at this time.

they get huge fast, great cat mine got to 16" the first year
