...I'm no astrologer... lol

Astronomy = the study of space, stars, etc.

Astrology = the crap hippy chicks talk about when you mention anything about astronomy.

Speaking of starts and mars, Anyone own a star? Its like 45$ and you can name it w/e u want.

I have one :)

they give u alota info on it, like how to find your star etc..

I paid my $45 and now own the sun. I went to the government demanding royalties on all the sunlight but they told me to go screw myself.

I have a dope telescope so there is still much to do..

What kind of scope you got? Astronomy is a big time hobby of mine. I have a 12" Meade LX200 as well as many smaller scopes. I spend several hours a week under the stars.

Nice stuff man. Ever thought of stepping up to the 1100? The extra aperature is well worth it. I have my eyes on either the Meade 14" LX200R or a 6"-7" refractor for my next scope. If I get the 14" I'll be looking to sell the 12" if you're interested.
I also have an Orion solar filter, they're decent, but I highly reccommend you look at the sun through H-alpha....trust me, it will knock your socks off. I have a Coronado PST. H-alpha blows white light filters away IMO.
As far as accessories, theres just too many to list. :headbang2
