thanks, thats when they look the yolk sac rite??

im sorry, i like to ask questions i know the answer to
as a consequence, im looked at as someone with no experience

i dont think they sell daphina at petco or petsmart, but ill ask
i know of course i cant get mosquito larvae

Well I grow my own Daphnia magna but anyone can grow mosquito larvae. Just put some cow manure compost (about a pint to a quart) in a large bucket or barrel, fill it with water and allow it to set outside, in a week or so you should have all the mosquito larvae you can use. Fish absolutely love them and they are a natural food for fish.

that's correct, DO NOT release fish back into the wild, even wherever you originally got them from. there are risks of bacterial and viral contamination that you're not aware of, along with parasites and other issues. if you can't take care of the fish, then kill them or give them to someone else. do no release them back into the wild under any circumstances, regardless of what others have done with other species, etc etc--

yea i agree. you just don't do it.

do not release any fish!!!
use a sponge filter.
if you dont have one,buy one.
they probably wont survive long.
but if they do,then good for you.
yes,a pond is fine as long as they cant get back to the wild and its big enough for them.

im good guys, its ok........

all dem negative comments man........

honestly, those look like snails rather than gar fry. of course i have never seen gar fry so i dont really know. but thats what they look like to me. especially the one that is on the side of the tank.

Those are typical 3rd day gar fry. Sometimes called Stage 28 fry....

Why would this be so shocking to you? Almost no one deals with these fish on this level and of those that do you are not going to be spoon fed the info just because you ask...
