Peruvian Mono's first time spawn

Thanks Joeseph, I never thought they would spawn with all the others in the tank but they did it. I am still riding the happy breeder cloud.

Thanks BiFish,JC, and Channa. These two Monos have always been pretty special to me. And I appriciate the well wishes. We will see how it works out. The other Cichla have been pretty active and there still is a lot of comotion in the breeding site so we will see how that effect's the egg's.

i dont think the eggs will be affected by the other fishes.unless theyre eaten.
the other cichla are staring...LOL....like theyre envious of the spawn.

I guess so all the egg's are gone. Got eaten! :( I knew once the Pinima started it was over! At some point I could tell the Mono's were pretty much done trying to fight everyone off. It was nothing major just normal mouthing and pushing. But still they gave in and the Motoro was like FOOD! Nothing happened there all back to there same old group. The Occellaris were the funniest because 1 of them is the smallest. He tore into the egg's like I gave them to him. Oh well thanks everyone! Hopefully I will have better luck when I seperate them first thing. I got caught unprepaired. Next time! :naughty: Until then.

i just dont see why such big cichla would be interested in such tiny eggs.:ROFL:
