Pet Duck VS. Pet Squirrel: Which One Do You Prefer?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would definitely say squirrel though I have a wee bias

We have 5 of these, I am just about to make a nice home for them have them in a parrot cage right now.

Though for a period of time we raised this little gaffer. My kids saved him from being pecked to death by a gaggle of birds 2 times as big as he was, you can see his wounded leg in the pic

Cute pics :)

I would personally keep both... I had pet geese when I was little (when they were small my parents thought they were ducks, long story...)

I've kept pet rats which I'd imagine to be quite similar to keeping a squirrel.

So both!

the duck, squirrels are supposed to go wild and lose there tameness when they grow older

I never said you could keep both you guys. ;)
I took my Duck to the local park yesterday night, and I attracted the most attention I ever had with Sunny. There must have been around 5 groups of people asking me questions. And one lady wanted to me to send a letter to Ellen Degeneres to be on her show, LOL! I'd personally think ducks would make better pets, after reading up on squirrels some more. Turns out more than half the squirrels kept as pets grow up to be mean and nippy. And no one wants to be bit by a squirrel. I currently keep my duck alone, without another duck. While some might say that's cruel, she's perfectly happy to me! I let her roam around the yard during the day and lock her in at night. I can't convince my parents to get another duck anyways. She's tons of fun though guys, a few people came up to me thinking I was petting a wild duck, and said: "Are you a duck whisperer?" I just laughed and told them she's my pet. Most didn't believe me, others thought that was impossible to make a duck your pet.

It's a sugar glider. The males have a funky odor to them.
I don't care for them too much.

Dude

I have to show you but one product that can be used

There are others that are added to the food that help cut a large part of the smell, but hey I will put up with the musk smell as they are so darn loveable.

WHY A SQUIRREL OVER A DUCK
