Pet Peeve Thread

Many, many things...

But one of the worst when people seem to think that pit bulls are complete and utter machines of death and destruction. I have lost count of how many times someone would come up pat my dog say how nice she is and ask what type then recoil in fear/horror (mostly hyped by evening news) at being told a red nosed pit.

I think you are right, because the sun does damage skin. In the U.S., women think being tan is important and what guys like, but most the time guys don't care.

Agreed that also goes for most other things women do to their bodies...Generally guys don't care, seems like women try to impress other women. Then again what do I know.

Now a list of some pet peeves:
1. Drivers who drive too fast and stop suddenly on the right side of your car while you have the right of way and they need to stop.
2. Drivers who change lanes and THEN signal....
3. Flat spots on skateboard wheels...(sounds like you are always riding over a bridge of 2x4's very annoying)
4. Messy dishes
5. Gridlock traffic, rather walk then wait on a road full of cars.
6. People who come into a LFS and say that piranhas are the most bad ass creatures manifested by god..

other aquarists, (I was on aquaticcommunity.com before) seem to think they know everything...there are general rules to follow, but there is no learning experience like your own. What works for you, may not necessarilly work for someone else and vice-versa

people that drive while talking on the phone

people that pay with checks

people that insist on paying with the exact change, so they dump out their purses and pockets

Developers who prefer green in their pocket not on the earth.
'Animal lovers' who support industries full of unnecessarily brutal animal cruelty.
The ignorant and careless noob fishkeeper.
People who 'used to have' an iguana or ball python that lived for a few months than escaped, died, or met some other ridiculous fate at their hands.

One shoe being tied tighter than the other - I know it sounds ridiculous, but this will really ruin a perfectly good day for me. I know you're thinking "just untie it and tie it again", well when I do my slight case of OCD comes out - they need to be perfectly even.



I've learned to wear my shoes like slippers, and keep them tied constantly. The shoes wear out a bit faster, but hell, I don't have to deal with any crap.

I have a pet peeve. Does any body know what to feed it? Should I starve it or just give in and give it feeders? Do you think I can keep 2 pet peeves in a 10 gallon, or should I get a 20? Also can someone help sex my pet peeve?
