Pet Peeve Thread

OUTSIDE MFK
#1 People that chew with their mouth open or smack their lips makes me wanna choke them.
#2 People who try and talk "over" you.
#3 Girls who think that "muffin top" (fat draping over your pants) is acceptable. It's not...
#4 People who look down on those with tattoo's.
#5 All drivers, especially my wife.
#6 People that complain about not getting raises or making enough money that always show up late.
#7 People that have a complaint for everything.
#8People that take forever at the store to "check" if their scratch it lotto ticket is a winner.
#9 People that put HUGE wings on the back of their car that cost more than the car itself.
#10 Popped collars.
#11 Tough guys, all of them, especially ones with popped collars.

INSIDE MFK
#1 "Guaging Interest" adds in the market place piss me off, they should get deleted. It's buy and sell forum people, not "make up your damn mind" forum...
#2 12 year old kids with only a 10 gallon tank giving people advice on bracing their floors etc...
#3 People who only respond with a smiley and no words. This one seems reasonable: :popcorn: but still, type something, not that hard.
#4 People who end EVERY sentance with "..."
#5 People who type complete sentances like they are texting. Not acronyms like "LOL" or "ROFL" but actually trying to speak "Ur aros aw3some 4 sur!".
#6 People with usernames you could never pronounce or remember for the life of you.
#7 People who consitantly post something, turn right around and post another response, with an "Also something, something". Preview dude. Stop with the post count techniques.
#8 People who post two pictures at a time in the media lounge so they can get their post count up.
#9 People who think that their post count actually matters.
#10 People who get mad and post snarky comments since no one has reponded to their new thread in the first 10 minutes.
#11 Hijackers.
#12 Trolls.
#13 Polls.

ok, here are my pet peeves-
-my english teacher
-people who have a tank thats too small for their fish and have the money to upgrade it, but "forget" and buy other stuff
- when people answer a question with "because i said so"
-caps lock
-people who are annoying simply because theyve got nothing better to do
-people who are terrible drivers (mainly only the jackasses though. One guy on the highway was like 2 feet away from my dads car and we were going like 70mph...)
-parents who cant control their kids
-children who disobey their parents in public
-uptight people
-people who say "do you want to" before asking me to do something
-smoking (cigarettes)
-people who say "like" every other word in a sentence

ah that feels much better.
 
My worst peeve- people who wait til last minute to get something done and then have a fit because it can't get done in the time they alloted. Like calling the night before you are leaving on a trip to get permission to install something on your company laptop (not a company approved software). The person make 3 times what I do and does not have the common sense that this may have to go to higher authorities who do not work weekends. Guess common sense and planning are not a requirement for high income anymore.

-when fish stores don't inform people on the requirements of fish before they sell them and people end up with a 8" fish that should be 20" in a 10g
-idiots who smoke in the car while children are in it
-people who accuse people of things before they have heard all of the facts
-loud ringtones
-people who let thier kids ride pocket bikes in the street while they're not even being watched
-when my st. bernard puppy decides to wipe her slobber on my pants, the couch, the table, etc.
 
People who say they "seen" something.

"I was out yesterday, and I seen David out on his bike."

"I seen one of those before."



It seems to be quite common these days. It's annoying though.

my ringtone is fairly loud. its the most brutel song ive ever heard...

another peeve of mine is when people say that they "axed" someone something.
"I axed him a question."
 
When someone does not say thank you for a random act of kindness. Like I stood here holding the door open becuase my brain ceased to function till you passed through it. That brings me close to bodily harm. Same thing when I let someone in my lane (which is very few and far between) if I don't get a hand thank you I can no longer be held accountable for my actions.
