heaven is my home
My Jag cichlid owes his life to my 6 year old male yorkie/poo. the other night about 3 in the morning, my wife wakes me up and tells me someone is inside the house. i thought she was talking in her sleep(she says some weird stuff in her sleep). again she urged me that someone was coming in the house. so i went and grabbed my 357 snubnose and went checked the front door, didnt see anyone but i heard this thud thud. followed the noise and saw my 9 inch Jag floppin on the carpet. picked him and got him back into the tank. he was already starting to dry out. i would say another minute and he would have been a goner. Sam(my dogs name) heard the noise and started barking, (he is a good alert dog), which the barking woke my wife up and then she woke me up. This didnt make the local news and Sam didnt get his credit for saving a life and being a hero. and the Jag doesnt know he would of died without the aid of Sam. Anyone elses pet save anothers pet's life?

My old dog twice "rescued" my 14" wolf fish when it got out, both times she brought the fish to my bedroom door and whined until I got up.

how did she bring the fish to your door without injuring it? thats incredible

My cat would always warn me when my crayfish got out. She'd look at it, the look at me, then look at it, then look at me, over and over until I went to go look at what she was looking at and it was the crayfish, also already starting to dry out.

thats crazy, never owned a cat but i would think it would want to eat it, with the fishy smell in all
