The dog was a border collie/shepherd cross. I dunno if she even picked it up, the doors not too far from the tank, she may have just pushed it over with her nose. I was more impressed she didn't get bit lol.

I'm impressed too. You have a great dog! My Shiba Inu has saved a few escapees and jumpers. She doesn't pick them up, she just barks at them until someone comes to see what the problem is. She tried to save my last Reed Fish but I didn't understand what her problem was. The fish was in the dark between the tank and the wall. She sniffed and barked at the tank for a bout three days. By the time I realized that the Reed Fish had jumped and that my dog wasn't insane, it was too late. My failure, not hers.
