first off, let me state that i am a wildlife major at humboldt state university, and my boyfriend is about to graduate as a marine fisheries major at humboldt state as well (if that doesnt mean anything to you, then look it up). i fell that as an upper division wildlife student i have more of an "animal education" than anyone at PETA. if you read my profile, you will see the fish and animals i keep, so i feel justified in saying that PETA is full of ****, doesnt follow real science and doesnt know anything about fish. which is pretty much what everyone else has said. but i read all of the posts and no one mentioned WHITEFISH HIGH SCHOOL

PETA is actually trying to get a high school renamed. they want the school to go from Whitefish High to Sea Ktten High

Wow...wait if we called our fish sea kittens what about dogfish? Barking sea kittens?...anyone want pet great white sea cat? Or electric slim cat? Or red bellied pugnosed kittens? I was amazed that how clueless the PETA. Caviar? They are unfertilized eggs, thats right there are NO life in these eggs.

I hope government dont give the funds to them because im sure the world is better without them. PETA's full of useless turds who have no life.

true, but the adult fish get slaughtered for the eggs...not that i've got anything against the consumption of caviar per se, but many sturgeon species are already endangered because of caviar industry, and that's just f'in disgusting and wrong

fish eggs can be removed with a siphon
but people rarely do it
when i go on party boats i often see searobin, still breathing, mutilated like in a horror movie with intentions of just getting the eggs
i believe the fish are disposed of into the bay
