Can you not support PETA, and still be against keeping Orcas in glorified swimming pools?
While PETA obviously goes to far, there are some very real instances of abuse in the animal keeping world. Orcas at seaworld and Elephants in circuses as examples.

Of course you can. Pretty much how I feel about it too, unless the animal for whatever reason can't survive in nature.
So you are against capitive-bred whales keeping which have no skills to survive in the wild? Honest what's difference keep a whale in enclourse from keeping an alligator gar in tank? Not mention that I see no animal cruelty in whales in capitivity.
If you have to ask, then you wouldn't understand anyways. This is no different than the Ohio issue with keeping exotic wild animals.
Yes, because there's no reason for it, other than our own selfish entertainment. These giant animals should not be kept in swimming pools.
So follow your logic, we shouldn't keep ANY MONSTER fish or whenever. We kept monster fish for our selfish entertainment too....even these threatened/endangered species. Clearly these whales are thriving and BREEDING in capitivity and even willfully to entertaining us. Where's the animal cruelty in whale-keeping?
hmmm, igoring everything else......you see no animal cruelty in making a whale perform in shows on your schedule day in and day out? you think the training is smooth and flawless with the animals best interests always in mind?
