PETCO STEAL!!!! Not really don't freak out

I just got a steal of a deal at petco lol. I walked in and didn't expect to see what I saw. They never have anything beyond usual there however.... When I walked in I saw a 8 inch fire eel labeled as a lesser spiny eel, He was $4 !! I practacally got him for free that is so cheep for a 8 incher. I also got some clown knives for $4 and I'm thinking one is a royal.Also got some blood parrots for $15 each. Anyway just thought id tell MFK because sometimes people never expect to see these fish in a petco haha. You guys think I got a deal? I certainly do. Here are the pics

Damn those are good purchases. Especially that fire eel. Looks nice and healthy and colorful. Never find anything good at my petco.

It depends on person in charge of ordering fish, with the Managers approval of course. This is the reason you see Petco's in different locations in the same States with different stock.

@OP: Makes me cringe so much seeing how you get an absolute steal for two awesome fish species and then go on to spend 15 bucks for a deformed fish..

That's cool. A few months ago my pet supermarket had 10 7-8inch clown loaches for $5 a piece. The fish guy said they had them for a little over a year and just couldn't get rid of them. He said they finally gave them away for free to a guy with a 450G tank

CKs so let's see how this goes. I'm assuming they will eat frozen bloodworms,krill etc.

Nah,a few good ones in the west but nothing local to me anyway.
