Yeah I'm surprised the two knifes haven't fought yet... I was planning to separate them but seems like they are really docile..... For now lol

When they are young they can be housed together no problem.

I have 4 in the same tank at around 3 inch no problem.

It's around 10+ inches I'd be careful, but they are rather friendly fish as long as it don't fit in its mouth.

Those fire eels are really cool.

My local petco has a pretty knowledgable fish guy. He actually runs the fish department. He's turned people away from buying fish if they tell him they have a tiny tank and are interested in something big.
