Petrified wood

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Welcome to MFK wheelrider, I have used several peices of petrified would and the only one I everhad problems with just contained some bog iron so I to it out. I never came across a sealant that I would consider using in a tank.

You guys are such help.
My wife is the one worried. She's afraid if I dip it into the fish tank it will desolve. It seems to be firm enough as of now, but , you know, it's at least 50 yrs old and its really important to both of us. Keeping it out of the fish tank but making sure it stays wet and warm has kept it in good shape. I will bathe and massage it so there won't be any diseases coming from it. Penicillin anyone?
