Pets other than fish?

I got rid of my snakes when I expanded the fish obsession when I got my house. My housemate has a dog though so by association I do too

I have a Common Snapping Turtle and two cats. We also have five chickens, but they are more like egg-producing garbage disposals than pets - I try not to get too attached to them.

Caucasian Ovcharka puppy, 16 weeks.
5yr old Black Lab.
4yr old Green Iguana.
1yr old Nile Monitor.
6yr old Tokay Gecko.
1yr old Jungle Carpet Python.

thats whats left after a extensive trim down before getting the new puppy back in Nov.

We had a Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix named Rex when I was a kid. He was the smartest dog I've ever known, and I grew up around dozens of dogs (my mom breeds Great Pyrenees and used to run the local Dog 4H club).
