coons are undomesticated, wild animals. they are not meant to be pets.

so are pythons, constrictors, ratllers, and really anything else that is deadly that people consider "pets"

So were goldfish a couple of thousands years ago before we started to keep them as pets.

OK, I gotta ask some basic questions, is he "in tact" or neutered? And if he is in tact, does he "mark his territory?"

Is he litter pan trained?

You obviously have fish tanks, how do you keep him from going fishing?

Never mind the litter pan question I hadn't seen the thread was 2 pages long when I asked it.

Not neutered, no. I'd hate to do that to an animal...
Has a tendency to be willing to mark, mainly during heat (yes, both sexes do "heat" of their sorts).
He is not overly interested in other animals. Pays no attention to terrariums with lizzards or snakes. Would like to dive into tanks, but does not when told not to. Honestly.

The animals he does not skip are my feeder tropical cochroaches, feasts on them every time he gets a change to steal 'em.

And I seriously think they make lousy pets. I just had no choise, really.

But seriously, ppl: your other pets with your tanks?

Well said.
Thank you.

What else can you think of a bloody Buddha:
