There's a fellow in Japan who has raised freshwater jellies long-term (and to much larger sizes than they typically reach in the wild). Unfortunately I can't find his site anymore.

Thanks for the ideas.
I will be looking more intensively into the freshwater jelly fish and see how they breed and if it is doable and economical to breed them or not.
 
Already have the Bryozoans. Now just need the jellies.
 

I think we covered this. There are no species of freshwater octopi or brackish. Or at least none that would be suitable for aquariums.
 
FYI..."pets with tentacles" is an amusing Google search.....o.o..maybe a little gross lol
 
I just discovered a pond that has a strain of gigantic hydra. Plenty of them are an inch long. Most are the usual 1/2 to 3/4 inch, but I see at least four out of these 50 that could eat a baby fish for sure. You in Washington? I can tell you where they are unless yours are sufficient.
