Well, the two fish moved on. Niether one wants anything to do with one another anymore. It is sad really. The Escondido decided to turn lesbian as she laid eggs for my female firemouth, who laid a batch on top of those eggs... FML.
The Petsmart "Kamfa" male just swims aimlessly chasing my giant danios and avoids getting his ass beat by Firemouth and his ex.
I think I'll just have to move him into another tank with another female fish and pray we can make something happen.
