Petsmart clearance sale!

There is a petsmart that is moving in my area.. everything was on 50% off.. so i got my aquaclear 110 for 45 bucks. I got alot of filter cartridges, frozen fish foods, etc etc.. all at 50% off! anyways nice pick up!

There's one left on the shelf when I walked out of the store last night. I have a 56 column tank running a Penguin 350 and a smaller Tetra filter on it because it lacks a long enough rim for more. Is it worth the $50 to run it on this tank with the Penguin 350? The other option is I can stick an Aqueon 75 on the rim instead of the Tetra filter (I had to borrow the Aqueon for another tank temporarily) plus doing that would save me money right now. Opinions?

I dont trust the tetra filter but as a secondary I think its OK. Check out your local CL, i been able to buy used ac110 for 20 bucks or emperror for about the same, atleast in my area.

I picked up one of the Eheim filters on clearance for the same price a couple of months ago at Petsmart. There doesn't seem to be consistency to Petsmart's clearances.
