petsmart in store sales

Sounds like he works at petsmart......But why buy a tank from petsmart that you know you can get cheaper at a private pet store?

Well if I was willing to make a 100 miles trip (50 there and back) just to save 20 or so dollars then I'd go with the private store.


But I'm not.

True it's not always the case. But I just drove 400 miles round trip three weeks ago to pick up a brank new 100G set up for $250. I'm just saying though......

How much do you really think you saved for 400miles worth of gas and the time you spend based on what I get paid a hour I'd lose money.

It was more worth it for me in driving the distance in the end, but these were my options.
1)Petsmart wanted close to 1k for just the tank, stand and light strip.
2)The local ma and pop store wanted $700 plus tax.
3) Drive 200m on Friday, spend the night with aunts and uncles, pick up the tank Sat, then do some shopping, then later that night meet up with more family for a BBQ, fall asleep for the night, then wake up Sunday and drive back. .........
