Petsmart pricing on STEALTH heaters

I believe I'll be sending them an email myself just so I can have a personalized copy of the above email. I already drive an extra 15 minutes and have to pass one petsmart to get to the one that will price match. Thanks man.
 
I had a feeling this was going to happen eventually. I always buy equiptment and sometimes food from petsmart because there's one very close to me and they would match their online prices which, on average, were around 50% cheaper than their in-store prices, and ends up to be cheaper than ordering online since you done have to pay for shipping.

I think the price matching depends on the store. The manager at the store near me said that they only match company prices from the Petsmart website and no where else. The Petco closest to me on the other hand says that they dont price match off the internet at all anymore. Either way it seems like I have no reason to go to any one of these stores anymore... Kind of wish I stocked up on bags of Bio-gold when petsmart pricematched them at 8.99 for an 8 oz bag...oh well.

This is a reasonable thing to do. They can't be losing money because their price matching to some other store that is 200 miles away. Half of the time people say that kind of stuff and they don't have any proof or even remember the name of the store that had a lower price. I work at a petsmart. And people ***** about price-matching daily. Were not going to price-match to some store that is ridicously far away. Customers then get mad at us, deal with it. It's inflation, it sucks. If you don't like it go somewhere else. There are plenty of other places, I agree petsmart prices can be pretty messed up and high priced. That's why I only buy certain things there, prime is 7.99 for the 8 oz. bottle. That last me about 2 months, and to me 7.99 is cheap. But on heaters, :eek:I would rather buy used than even look at their prices. They have the Top Fin(which is the crappiest kind they carry) that will heat 5 gallon tanks and their 17.99ish. WTF is with that. I have been to Meijer and bought a 20 gallon heater for 19.99 and works damn great, and still has been. So please (not pointing any fingers at you or anyone) if you don't like shopping at Petsmart, just don't. It's simple as that.
 
The petsmart near me also will not pricematch unless the match is from a local store, i usde to match ads there all the time, bummer
 
but ill still shop there because they have a range of products that other stores near me do not have, guess you gotta take the good with the bad
