ive seen horrible stocking at petsmart....makes me go "wow whoever put these with those is smart...s-m-r-t smart." nice rescue, petsmart really doesnt no much about compatibility imo, they probably just threw them in there becuase they had no space and they werent selling. they were on sale around here "reduce to clear" for about $#. cant wait to see pics. poor guy:(

I too was at petsmart 3 days ago. I rescued a blue acara that was in a tank full of larger oscars. All his fins gone, he was originally marked for $6.99 and now reduced to $1.75 so I bought him. He was eating bloodworms the minute we brought him home. Hopeflly he can make a full recovery.

"rescued" or "purchased" ?

This happened some 3 weeks back..

I happened to be in Petco at my area just to see if theres any new fish.... when i saw two semi giant 7" Oscar pairs up for adoption... It was basically free fish..... Apparently some guy didnt want the fish anymore and had to get rid of them.. so i picked up them..

heres a pic of them the day i brought them back... their now in one of my 55 gallon tank...
