I got my blue acara from petsmart for $1.75 like 6 weeks ago. I sold him already though.

This happened some 3 weeks back..

I happened to be in Petco at my area just to see if theres any new fish.... when i saw two semi giant 7" Oscar pairs up for adoption... It was basically free fish..... Apparently some guy didnt want the fish anymore and had to get rid of them.. so i picked up them..

heres a pic of them the day i brought them back... their now in one of my 55 gallon tank...

Hes all ready looking a little brighter hopefully with a good diet and clean water it will grow into a great cichlid

Petsmart, is bad. PETCO is worse. Walmart is just plain terrible.
