i found one at walmart last night..was looking in the algae eater tank and there he was! cute fat little guy...about two inches long...he as not labeled and i doubt any one at the store knew what it was..i could of got it for 2$

grr wish i had the space to rescue it ^_^.

Thats awesome. Petsmarts near me get ones in that are like 2.5" at best.

I mostly want to pick up tiny ones for the reason that I personally want to see them grow before my eyes. But i guess there are advantages and disadvantages to it. And they are so cute! Lol

You should have picked it up! And then give/sell it to someone here when it outgrows your tank. It might not have survived there at Walmart. Not that i have anything against them, but i dont really trust Walmart. I guess it depends on which branch

,,I really tried to think of a way to get him..but my 40 gallon is cold water and home to a beast that would eat the little guy like a noodle...

i have a 20 l with cons...dont think that would work they are breeders,
and 2 20s with guppy breeders so no space what so ever unless i tossed him in to my 3 gallon hex...and that would last like 2 days

WISH WISH WISH i had another tank..or space for anything to put him in
