Petsmart Special on Clowns

Since clown loaches can be prone to ich from what I've read I thought I'd mention that my local Petsmart had Rena Smart Heaters on clearance. Picked up a 200W (good for up to 70g) for $15.49 and two 150Ws (good for up to 50g) for $13.79. A big savings compared to how much they used to cost. Would be interesting to find out why they're on clearance though.

Oh yeah, I picked up 6 more clowns for a total of 9 so far. :}

I also got three, here they are in quarantine:
(FYI the nasty stain is on the wall behind the tank, not on the tank itself)
The heating pad was pulled up for the picture, they are all hiding under it now.

I managed to get the biggest three they had (no oddballs in the lot.)
They are at least an inch bigger than the usual fare at petsmart.
 
I picked up 13 2-3" clown loaches today, 18 het rasaboras for $1ea, and some 3-4" tinfoil barbs for $1 each. (tinfoils for the indoor pond) The store near me has had them for prob 2 months. I was thinking the sale was just due to not selling these things. I sure hope they get more in before this sale is over. Cant believe how cheap they were for the size they were!
