Petsmart XP3 FYI

Typo by whoever enters data into the Petsmart website. I'm not interested in one, but some other people here may be.
i guess they probably made a mistake. none of the other xp3 filter prices were changed.
yes hikari cichlid bio-gold is $20 in the store and they will match the online price of $8.50

Yeah, my wife's a manager at petsmart, and I hardly pay full price for anything, thanks to their internet pricing. They'll price match anything you can take an ad for, as long as it is the exact same item (brand, size, etc). You'd be surprised what they will do to satisfy their customers. I would guess that was a typo. Good job, though. I have 2 of them, great filters!
they will match big al's. i've had them price-match the following before: petguys.com, bigals, aquariumguys.com, bigappleherp.com (lowest price i could find on hagen glo T5 HO fixtures and bulbs), amazon.com (by superfishstore and pet, cheapest I found for Rena Smartheaters) and thatfishplace.com. I haven't brought in anything they haven't matched.

Actually last year they had them onsale on their website for $75 and free shipping, dont even need to spend the gas money to go pick it up... not sure if they will have that sale again or not.

That is completely up to the individual store. They are only required to price match their own website and local retail competitors ads.
I pricematch their own website all the time. Both Petsmarts I have been in will not pricematch any other website.
