I'll never buy another fish from PetStupid again. The $15 worth of fish (otos and rubberlips) wiped out $35 worth of other fish in the quarantine tank.

They died first then everything else started dying.

Lesson learned: cheap fish are never cheap
Lesson 2 learned: have more than one quarantine tank even if you buy all the fish within a day or two of each other
Lesson 3 learned: buying fish at Petsmart is not smart

depends on what day I go. I went to pick up a couple of red belly pacus. I had set up a tank specifically for them. The girl that was there never smiled she just snapped at me wanting to know what size my tank was, how long it had been set up and did I know how big they were going to get. My answers were big enough, long enough and not big enough! Other wise it's a good place to buy fish food.....

I've had mixed results there. On my last visit there were a lot of dead fish in various tanks... not good. I may buy fish there from time to time, but it makes me nervous as I don't have total confidence that they will be healthy. Otherwise I think it's a good store to buy stuff from... their return policy is great.

i picked up a nice GT the other day xD other than the employees working the petsmart by me isnt too bad poor selection in fish lol..... can you believe of the 3 GT's i was gonna buy the employee managed to drop 2 of them on the floor!!!!!!!!! luckily for me the one i really wanted i managed to convince him to let me pack it up myself


the pic shows him has a nice size hump biggest ive seen on a GT or his size 2.5 inches hes in a temporary tank 40 gal tall with my convict colony untill i find him a nice new tank to call home cell phone cam doesnt bring him justice as the colours and the hump are much better in person

nice find. It really depends on the employees. I have a petco here. they dont even wear the company uniforms. but they are knowledgeable, and will special order stuff
