I'm pretty fortunate to be within an hour of a few good fish shops so I always buy in person. Online is a bit scary for the unknown but the cost is also a factor.

I prefer to get mine at fish stores, we have a great one he in Champlin, MN called Terrequatics. It's freshwater only but he has a lot of cool fish. He breeds discus and has cool shrimp. I purchase fish supplies online, there's alot of websites that sell stuff for cheap. I like drsfosterandsmith.com and kensfish.com. I'm would like to purchase fish online sometime, but I am weary, so if anyone has had a good experience, let me know
Online ALL the way. They kick some serious toosh! Haven't been disappointed yet. Aquabid, Rapps, Anthonys, Alex (Fish Room Plus), SomethingsPhishy, and ThatPetPlace are just a few places that I recommend. Just if you are gonna get Red Texas, get them from Alex, not Somethingsphishy cuz their Red Texas suck...truth be told...Alex's ROCK though. Somethingsphishy has A LOTTA plecos and discus though!

The truth is anybody can sue anybody. Does he have just cause? If you state an opinion of somebody and are not stating its a fact, not sure that constitutes as a sueable offense.
