Nice shots of the passer angelfish. That was one of my favorites when I was keeping saltwater.

Amazing shots! How do you get the water to look so dark and only highlite the fish? Is it a lighting thing (flash/no flash, tank lights on or off, room lights on or off)? I got the combination right once, then forgot it.

This was at the fish store so lights were on but with the settings I used if I didn't use a flash all you would see is a black screen. When light from flash hit the subject that's what shows up while everything else is dark.

Those are so excellent shots and great timing too on their utmost beauty.

Thanks

Sweet shots! Love the Lion Fish!:)

Thanks

I have always wanted to photograph them.

Really digging the Lionfish shots. I really like the first three shots. The lighting and shading in the first make it look somehwhat horrific in a good way:) To my eyes that is.

Thanks

A another forum we were saying it almost look like some kind a space creature.

A yellow tang would be amazing in those kind of shots

Did saw one but it wasn't cooperating.

This fish was super outgoing. Acting almost like a large cichlid where it would come to front of tank and seems to be almost displaying.
