i used to love cpvc, i installed it for years with not a single hitch. then one day i had to work on a 5yr old house with cpvc in it, not fun. just about everything i touched broke apart in my hand. we will not install it any longer.

pex is great stuff, we use viega currently and like it.

zurn has a ton of lawsuits, and i believe went bankrupt. rehau no longer makes pex.

Pex seems to be the wave of the future. But luckily by the time I'm able to build a house it will be more proven.

I don't want to end up with a polybuteren or however its spelled problem.
