PH buffer question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hiya Jake.
Yea Bicarb is perfect.
My tap water has a pH5.4 - pH6, and gH and kH barely detectable.
Make sure you use bicarb with epsom salts though, if you dont after a few hours your pH will crash, as Bicarb has no buffering ability.

Thanks Torbayguy. Btw, i think torbay is a lovely place (:

Jake, my pleasure... if you need to ask about anything else, pm me and I'll help if I can....

Bet Norfolks freezing today....

Finally had some snow today, weeks behind the rest of the country... ;-))
