  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Your ammonia might not really be that bad. Do you use Prime as conditioner? It may give you false ammonia readings.

idk when I set my tank up on monday I used, the Caribsea ready water, Stress coat +, Accu-clear, and bio-magnet magnifier

Never seen the Caribsea stuff before, that's cool. The tester may be off anyways. Before you panic, try a liquid kit.

okay. i dont hae money for one right now though. I just spent $100 at petsmart yesterday so Im going to have to wait till I get my tips from work and my paycheck friday lol

I'd just let the tank sit anyways. That small amount of ammonia should get eaten up with the bio-filter pretty quickly.

ok I hope, I mean I have two filters going right now the one is for upto 65g and the other 60. the Fluval U4 runs at 265gph i dont no about the other, but there should definetly be enough filtration lol

I agree with SimonL, your tank is probibly fine. If your still concerned feed very lightly and you could do 25% water changes until Friday when you can get a good test kit. Don't freak.

Your PH is fine for the fish you have. I also live in Ohio and 8.2 is what I always have where I'ved live. What you need to worry about is if your PH changes. A PH change can affect the fish more than a PH of 7.0 compared to say your 8.2
