PH is not the problem. Fish will get use to the PH change if you acclimate them to it.
If its bumping into the glass, (and if Im thinking right) its becaue he is use to being in a larger tank and you moved him into a smaller tank. He will get use to the size of the tank and know were he can and cant go.. Thats normal when going from a smaller tank to a larger tank. Ive even had fish Ive taken from a smaller tank and put in a larger tank that swim in a small area because it was what they were use to. Over time, they figure it out and are all good.
