HEy I have 20 2" red bellies being shipped to me in 2 days. I have a 200 G tank , big wet dry filter, everything seems fine my only concern is the ph is about 7.2 IS THAT ok ? does anyone have any advice or tips for me. I have a BRANDTI Piranha ina diffrent tank for two years now in that ph and he has been doing fine. anyone?

i kept various pygos for years at 7.2 ph with no problems at all including piraya and caribe which were wild caught.
they will be ok

Some people have success keeping them in a PH of around 8 and sometimes slighly more. The natural PH for them is around 6.6-7.1 so you are pretty darn close to that.

If it bothers you adding a bit of driftwood will lower it slightly, providing your KH is not really high. I think bogwood helps to give a more natural look also. It may tint your water yellow some, this can be removed by using carbon in your filter.
