I wonder why yours is still keeping the whiteness better than others, like this one: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/phantom-redtail.746296/

I think the colors are pretty similar, maybe look a bit different due to lighting or Whatever. Mine is getting more yellow/orange with age and diet change. I think as these continue to grow and mature, they will take on more of that pale yellow with orange/red fins. I have changed his diet over the past couple months, adding in more Massivore pellets stuffed into pieces of salmon .

Mine changes from white and goes to yellow every once ina while I believe it’s based on what you are feeding them

What are you currently feeding? Just curious to see what we are suspecting causes the yellowing in the phantoms? Still a beauty imo.

I feed him shrimp tilapia smelts and night crawlers he will not eat pellets ??‍ He’s picky
