Do you have a drop checker? Also are you using all 4 bulbs?

Yes and no.

I have recently cut down the light period to 6 hours a day and have reduced the ferts by about 1/2". I'm going to see what happens with this as far as algae growth. I removed a good cupful of algae from the tank the other day.

My question..... Co2 is ion the same timer as the lights, so 6 hours of Co2 a day. I read in one of the articles posted about that massive Co2 swings can cause algae growth. Could I be potentially swinging the Co2 levels with only 6 hours of injections?

Decided it was time to post up a picture of how things were going. I really picked up the knack for getting these plants to go crazy. I was having to trim some of the plants at least twice a week.

Unfortunately, I came home last week to find that one of the seams was beginning to give way on the side panel. So of course, I had to tear down the tank out fear of ruining the carpet. All the plants have been shipped out to a "safehouse" while I get a replacement tank or fix the current one.

I did manage to grab a shot while I was removing a bit of the water.
