for those that are interested, here's the link to Flash Beta 2. there's a beta 3 out, but i havent tried it. and yes, i just found out that Froyo 2.2 is required for Flash to work.

Yes thats why I want to get 2.2 so bad. I am on MyTouch 3G and T-Mobile announced that coming "soon" we will get the update. Not quite sure when but I am sitting here impatiently waiting for it.

Google is already talking about the next version is going to have customizable themes for the OS.

i gave up waiting for OTA updates a loooong time ago. they always get delayed. i finally rooted my phone and did it all myself. its super easy and i had 2.1 months before it was released to the masses. now on 2.2, who knows when that one will go out

I get paranoid about that kind of stuff. Just because I don't want to have to buy a replacement incase I brick my phone. I usually let someone else do it just so it's not my fault. I haven't heard if 2.2 has leaked yet for myTouch I know they had to modify it for the smaller hardware.

yeah not sure about other devices yet. but with the moto droid, its pretty much unbrickable, so they say lol. you can always get back into the recovery/setup menu and restore to the previous backup

+1 blackberry. I'm clumsy as hell and don't trust myself w/ a touch screen tho.
