My honest opinion is they all suck. If I saw these entered I wouldnt vote for them. Reason I am saying this is a few things. For 1, the quality of the pics arent that good, and the poses arent that good either.

While some people might think they look cool, the PTOM isnt about being cool, but rather what is the best photo. This is the quality of the pic, the pose and partially the fish in the pic. Just my opinion though. You probably should work on your pics a little more.

what a *** hole , I would not think i would win becsue there is some awesome pictures in the POTM, but it is fun to enter. I thought by entering the pregnancy shots, were something a little different than the same old arowana picture's... I agree, i am not very good at taking pictures, which some were edited from a motion picture, not originally pictures at all.

That's why there are hundreds of votes...Maybe you forgot, but MFKers vote on the POTM. And you're right POTM is about the "best photo." But the critical piece you are missing is that its about the "best photo" according to the viewer. So your specs for voting might not be others. You probably should work on your thought process a little more.

I don't see why you're flipping out over this. You posted option 6 for those who thought they sucked, and that person obviously thought it did and availed himself of the option you offered. I would understand your reaction if you listed option six as "abstain" or something along those lines.

As you can see, everyone has different opinions. Sometimes the content of the photo will overide other features, such as technical perfection, but not usually.

The one thing you have no control over is the other photos in the contest.

If you already concede defeat, and you want to enter because it's fun then go with your gut on which pic to enter.

Get some light under the tank next time your rays are giving birth. A clear (even if not of the best quality) pic of that, I'd vote for! It's not something you see everyday.
Fire eel pic would have been awesome if the divider wasn't there...

To me it doesn't matter. If those 5 where up for POTM I would choose 1.
