I understand that part, but is there a reason you feed cooked instead of raw. I just
ask out of curiosity.

My rays won't even eat shrimp that has freezer burn on it because it's too tough. Maybe because they're still young and they're unable to chew thru the toughness. But I'm curious also now.

I have fed cooked in the past just because they sold those small salad shrimp that were bite size and the rays loved them. They only sold them as cooked.

Thanks. I would love to have a pair of quality pearls in my tank. But i'll have to wait untill i got my bigger tank. Don't want to overstock my tank right now.
