If that bulb is an incandescent bulb your better off placing it on screen lid on top of tank because the snake will burn itself on it. It will in time try to climb on it . By time it realizes its being burnt its to late . They dont grasp the concept of being burnt . If you add branches it will climb and neat to see that. Corns LOVE to climb.

It is impossible to put it on the screen without melting the plastic.... experience talking here. I wont add branches until the light is out of there. Thanks!
