I picked up a Blood Parrot for my KML yesterday. I vented it at the LFS and once again when I brought it home, and it definitely looked like a circular U shape there, so I hope I'm right. I took out the divider today, and they have been fine together all day. I am pretty suprised, because this is one aggressive mofo.

Anyways, here are the pics!

I know the vent looks kinda male-ish in these pics - or does it? I don't know, because I've read that they can be pretty hard to vent from the side. Any experts have opinions on sex from these pics? Like I said, turning it upside down and venting it made me certain it is a female, but maybe I'm wrong.

Not an Expert for sure angler but my parrot from the side looks the same as yours .Her and my oscar tried to spawn about 6 times in the last year and a half But the last time the Male oscar was earing the eggs as fast as she laid them:(She was bummed....

looks good, hope they work out for ya.

dig the pics. That is my goal. In fact, exactly.

Thanks guys! Over a day without the divider and not a scratch on the Parrot. When I go up to the tank, the FH gets all pissed at me, then he turns all the aggression on the Parrot and attacks her. When I step away from the tank, there's no aggression. I observed them a bit last night after the tank light when off, and they were doing a little shimmying and dancing with each other.
