ill play when the snow is gone :D, its just starting to melt then iam going to my lake of a bass every cast. Altough most will be under a pound :nilly:.

I've caught lots of LMB through the ice hole in early ice fishing season and late ice fishing season just not in mid season. I do most bass fishing in summer when they were "starving" and being trapped in low water of the rivers that they will attack anything. They readily take the kernel corn. But I like to eat young ones than adult ones. If I want to eat bass I tend focus on the lake with stunted bass populations usually between 8 to 10 inch long. 5 pounders are more common in my area.

The last pic it was caught in early ice fishing season. The rest pictures from last summer. The wall mount is a 19 inch SMB.

15" or better? looks like i wont be posting here. the biggest freshwater bass ive caught was 13" and probably a pound and a half. they dont get to big up north.

make me think of getting a replica of my 23 inch smallie :D, maybe some day

Not true, there are plently 16inch long ones in Minnesota which is around 3 to 4 lbs if you know how to find them and 5 pounders are caught from time to time. My cousin caught 6 lbs starved old bass and is planning to have her bass on wall.

sure they do, the big boys just arent as common as they are down south
