I have a large piece of slate in the tank for them; it is just outside of the picture. It is about 14"x18". The female, Oscar on the right, lays eggs on it every so often. So far the pair won't parent raise. They wait for the eggs to become wigglers and then they chow down.
My pair are the only occupants in a 125 gallon aquarium.
