even though i'm not into parrots.. that a really nice and great looking one and with some impressive size

I have a parrot with one eye and ive had it for about 4 months and its just getting fatter not much length is occuring...All he can eat is tubifex worms and sometimes red wrigglers and beefheart, but he has so much trouble eating moving food including pellets due to his pirate-like condition...I have him with a leaf fish and a brown knife because he loves the plants for cover.

When I was in Florida all the fish I saw of these looked like shortbodied Red Devils or had tattoos of flowers on them or were jellybean parrots (it was kinda sad).

thats a hefty parrot. It is cool to see big Regulars. mine (still have to measure him for sure) is maybe 7" give or take an inch. it has great color, and its color changes every now and then. Sometimes it will be pure solid orange, sometimes it will me light purple, with irredesent scales around the stoumache. it looks somewhat like a rose queen when it is like that. it is really cool. i will have to measure him and get pics of him and his rose queen color. oh and an other color it has is orange, but unbeliveably glowing and bright, its irredesents stomache makes it look like a lightbulb. it happened when i fed it brine shrimp eggs. I have only a teaspoon of that stuff, so i have to rashon it. i now its a he, because occasionaly he will breed with the female red devil
