I used styrofoam from home depot. It comes in 4 foot by 8 foot by 2 inch thick sheets. I glued pieces together with great stuff then I carved the roots tree and rocks. Thanks for the interest.

I'm glad theres interest in the pics and tutorial of the build. Maybe when I get it done it could become a sticky. Also I have alot of other DIY stuff that I'm gonna post with pics and write ups on.
