good luck with that guy did they have any endlis lift ?

did you seen any ornates ?

wow i see a big pleco mouth watch that thing it could kill a tiny bichir if it tries to eat its slime coat

fins look fine just a little chewed up should grow back my delhezi from there had some fins with the same problem its gotten better but you can still see it
 
nice!! doesn't look like fin rot to me. I have never had a bichir who didn't come in without some fin damage. Just give him time and he'll be fine :)
 
Its a nice lil CB (captive bred) endi, $34.00 isn't bad,the dorsal finlets should grow back
and I didn't see any sign of finort on them just damage-Anne

There are 3 or 4 Endlis left. She didn't have any Ornates. I meant to ask for you when she is getting them in, but I forgot. The pleco is pretty well fed. He eats pellets and pretty much everything else I put in the tank, so hopefully he doesn't bother the Endli. I want to get rid of him; I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease about the fin. I haven't had any fish with fin rot, so I wasn't really sure how to identify it.

I know I could easily find this through a search, but since I have this thread going, I may as well ask - what is the average growth rate on these guys?
 
dang ohh we'll not sure if i should get the 6'' one at aqua imports $55 a bit much and it doesn't have that good of a pattern if golden fish is getting juvies for sure then i'll wait not sure if aqua imports has it any more any ways hopeing they got more raindow wolfs though
 
One of the reasons for finding a good LFS and buying stuff from it.Is once you establish yourself as a good loyal customer is they can do favors like order certain species for you
 
yeah i go to aqua imports alot kind of they have offered to order fish for me but i keep contacting them after the place the order i'll see what they can get me next order though

also gonna try to talk down the price i think telling them it will go into a 180 gallon may help convince them i'll take care of it and mabye they will lower the price a little

are you talking about an ornate? if so, animal attraction in greeley has 2 ~8" ornates for $70 each. that is where i got mine and it has a pretty good pattern. I've had mine for 3 months and it's grown at least 2 inches and is pretty fat, but theirs don't seem to have grown much.

I would grab one up, Killerfish. You aren't gonna find a much better deal than that.
