I think you need to put a polli and an ornate side by side and you can tell the difference.

Polli looks very very clore to retropinnis, but not to ornate at all..

Thanks everyone. I was hesitant to buy it when I saw it at the LFS because the colors seemed kinda dull. But now that he has settled into the tank, the colors really pop, especially the yellow on the fins. He is very active too.
