Same as what everyone has said....
No for the hermit crab, although it is cool to watch
Any bigger fish IE Angels, Tangs, Some Butterflies, anything that swims pretty fast.
Avoid slow moving, feathery fins. To much of a temptation for a Trigger.

I had no trouble with mine (fish wise)... he was last put in the tank and after 10 minutes of show off, everything was calm. It'll eat EVERYTHING that it can put in its mouth, from clams to crabs to corals. Great fish, great personality.

Triggers are trippy fish i've had really good luck with mixing them with other fish but some people I know have had real problems.I've had the same Crosshatch returned twice because he cleaned out the costemers tank,pretty fish though

Mine lives with two domino damsels. They have plenty of places to hide, and are fast enough to get to a hide out if need be.

In a 150 gal tank with some shelter, you picasso probably will not turn into a mad cow... I got one clown trigger (4 inch) with a ****** trigger (1 inch) with other fishes as Mac's angel (4 inch) , hippo tang (3 inches) , sailfin tang (3 inches) all holding theirselves in a 60 gal tank... just beware of not taking too long to add your other desirable fishes...because if left alone for a long time...picasso or any other marine fish , will become too territorial and may present trouble for your other fishes... usually one rule for triggers... add bigger fishes than the trigger and usually you will be fine...

All that in a 60g? Are you serious? I hope that's not a typo. You're going to have such trouble with that tank soon.

No experience with Picasso triggers. I had a Niger trigger that didn't bother anything. The trick is to buy the clean up crews in bulk (local aquarium society forums will host "group buys" from distributors.. $0.30/crab sometimes!) and add it while the fish are either asleep or before you add the fish. It's worked well for my puffer and Lunare wrasse. Don't drop the stuff in either - if you hand place them in crevices they will last a long while.

I have a predator tank with a picasso and clown trigger, snowflake eel, porcupine puffer, foxface rabbitfish, miniatus grouper, and a ghost eel that came in a piece of rock as a hitch hiker. I've had them all for about 5 months now. They are in a 150g and it's no where big enough for them. Aggression is already starting to show. I'm planning on a 345g to upgrade their home.

I've added snails and crabs and they might last a week. I added 4 koralia #4 circulation pumps to keep the nasties suspended in the water column which then gets sucked out to the sump and the skimmer cleans everything out. I also have a refugium and I keep it stocked with snails and crabs and they help out a lot too.
